Resolved — Full restoration has been achieved. Following the restoration of power, our equipment has fully recovered and all affected services are operating normally. This incident is now resolved.
Identified — Facility management team together with critical facility engineers identified a leak on a pipe serving a Computer Room Air Handler (CRAH) unit, affecting cooling operations throughout the facility. The initial leak has been isolated. Fire system and chiller vendors have arrived onsite and are supporting restoration efforts. Facility Engineers and the vendor continue restoration efforts on the chilled water system. Chiller 7 has been successfully returned to service in compressor mode and is supporting site cooling recovery. Temperatures in the third-floor data halls have started to decrease, while temperatures on the second floor remain unchanged. Restoration of the remaining chillers is ongoing, and additional chiller vendor support is en route to the site. Mobile dehumidifiers have been deployed to reduce humidity levels, and water is being removed from the affected areas. Elevator service has been restored; however, access to customer equipment remains restricted for safety reasons. During restoration activities, an additional water leak was identified and subsequently isolated. The investigation into the source of the leak remains ongoing.
Identified — The on-site technician has confirmed that a water leak occurred in the cooling system on the second floor of the Frankfurt data center. Our equipment is located on the third floor, where the cooling failure caused temperatures to rise rapidly. As temperatures continued to increase, the automated protection systems shut down power across several floors to prevent equipment damage. The recovery time remains unknown. We will provide another update as soon as new information becomes available.
Investigating — Since 14:33 UTC on 15 August 2026, our Frankfurt FR5 facility has been experiencing an environmental incident: the internal temperature has reached 50°C and parts of the site are flooded. This is affecting anyWAVE and anyBIZ services that terminate in Frankfurt. All other services have been successfully rerouted. We are working with our facility and infrastructure partners to restore normal operations. We will share further updates as they become available.
